What are Eyeglasses Temples?
Temples are the long sleeves on both sides of an eyeglasses frame that start from the hinge and end to the ear. It secures the frame front and keeps it in position. The most common length of temples is 120 mm to 150 mm. Sometimes, the size of the temples varies with the face and head of the wearer.
How to select the correct temples?
- Choose the temples with enough length so they can bend downward at nearly 45 degrees. Also, at least 30 to 45 mm extend from the bend point.
- If you select the straight temples, make sure they go beyond your ears, and the endpoints of temples should put gentle pressure on the back of your skull.
- Make sure the temples are comfortable and properly fitted.
