• When your eyeglasses break in the hinge (or spring hinge) section you need a hinge rebuild.
• A regular hinge will be restored to function as before.
• A spring hinge will be converted to a regular hinge with a factory-wide opening angle.
• This repair costs $59.95
• If your broken hinge looks different, we still can repair it.
• There are hundreds of variations for hinge rebuilds.

• If your frame suddenly fits too loose, you might have lost the trim spacer that sits at the front of the temple and keeps the opening angle at 90º.
• These trim spacers are often not available for replacement parts
• but we hand fabricate that missing spacer by copying the trim spacer from the other side
• in Sterling silver, or gold plated.
