A variety of metals like brass, stainless steel, and monel are used to create metal eyeglass frames. Eyeglasses manufacturers also use titanium, nickel, beryllium, and other alloys. Still, the metal eyeglasses frames have chances to get broken with daily use. Eyeglasses repair experts use many ways to repair broken metal frames. A few years ago, electric or hard soldering equipment was used for repair. This method worked for hard metals only. For alloys, it was not applicable. Apart from that, repairing with the old methods was not too clean. A burned spot often remained at the location of repair.
How To Fix Metal Frame Glasses?
Nowadays, Manufacturers are creating maximum eyeglass frames with alloys like titanium due to their lightweight. The good news is that laser weld technology is also available to repair broken metal frames.
At Eyeglass Repair USA, we have repaired thousands of metal frames since 2002. We use laser weld technology to do the perfect repair. With the traditional repair methods, the metal coating may damage. But the laser repair is safe. A laser weld joint is 60 times stronger than an solder weld. Also, the weld is nearly invisible. Our technicians have extensive experience repairing metal eyeglasses with advanced technology. We focus on 100% client satisfaction.
